GA HAUNT HUNT TEAM

WELCOME

Our Purpose: Our purpose and goal is to actively research, investigate, and document the existence of Ghosts.

So What Does That Mean? This means the use of devices such as cameras, tape recorders, electromagnetic frequency detectors, thermal scanners, infared motion detectors, even a regular compass, to find evidence supporting the presence of ghosts and/ or paranormal activity. If available, this also means using the metaphysical guidance of persons with psychic abilities- (i.e. persons who are able to detect and possibly communicate with ghosts, minus electronic aid.)

Who Is Membership Open To? Membership is open and free of charge to anyone, be they skeptic or convinced believer with an interest in, or experience with ghosts and/ or unexplained events. Anyone of any age may attend meetings; however, for liability reasons, site investigations may be limited to persons 18 years or older.

Meetings: Meetings are open to all members able to attend, and are held every month. Meetings are not mandatory, but attendance does count when it comes time to decide on a team for investigations (which are many times limited to a certain amount of people)

How Are Investigations Handled? Everyone on the team is encouraged to find leads on haunted sites. For example, leads are found in newspapers, local magazines, via word of mouth, and even through folklore. When we find a lead, we select volunteers based on their knowledge of the paranormal, the number of meetings they have attended, and their general attitude. Responsibilities then include: 1) researching a sites history 2) contacting eye witnesses 3) (this is important) obtaining permission from the property owner. Certain cemeteries, for example, are locked at night...we would need the cemetery keepers permission and cooperation. Some investigations will require us to keep the number of investigators down to only 2 or 3. Such is the case of many private residence investigations. Haunted theaters, cemeteries, and other generally public-oriented places are able to tolerate larger numbers of investigators.

During Any Investigation, all team members will be required to maintain a professional attitude at all times. The best way to obtain valid results is for reach team member to arrive at the site with a positive mind set and realistic goals. The mind MUST be clear of all negative thoughts, so as not to attract a disturbed entity. Just like you learned in chemistry, like attracts like.

We are glad you are interested in ghosts, and we are happy to welcome you to our team. Ghost hunting is a positive experience that teaches us life does go on... even after death of the body.
